February 29, 2008 — Parable franchising, the largest franchisor in Christian retail, was recognized this week as a top 50 franchise opportunity.
The "Franchise 50 Awards" are generated using one of the largest franchisee satisfaction surveys in the nation. Based on Parable franchisee survey results, Parable Franchising was recognized as a Top 50 franchise within the retail category. Parable received an Honorable Mention at last year's Franchise 50 Awards.
The awards are based on the research results of Franchise Business Review, a market research firm that conducts thousands of independent surveys of franchisees each year. Winning franchisors were awarded medals at the International Franchise Association's annual convention on February 12; results were announced to the public earlier this week.
"It is an honor to receive an award on behalf of the Parable Franchise, but it is an even greater tribute to be recognized by our franchisees," said Parable vice president of franchising Rod Huff, who accepted the award along with franchise sales manager Phil Darr.
According to Franchise Business Review, the awards were created "to pay tribute to companies that are 'doing it right' – putting franchisees first and focusing on what matters most…these companies truly represent the best in franchising."
"Parable has developed a unique franchising model that provides the freedom of local control with the benefits of a national brand," remarked Huff. "This award is an indication that Parable franchising is offering real hope to independent Christian retailers in today's economy."
