Parable Announces Free Catalog Subscription Program

San Luis Obispo, CA — At the 2006 International Christian Retail Show, Parable is announcing a new program to help store owners make the most of their advertising dollar. More than just a handful of free catalogs, the Free Catalog Subscription Program provides a minimum of 3,000 catalogs each month, helping stores implement the professionally planned "Family, Friends and Guests" mailing strategy.

The Family, Friends and Guests predictive model strategically targets specific segments of a store customer list, sending catalogs to customers most likely to respond.

"It pays to mail catalogs, but you need to mail smart," explains Parable CEO Steve Potratz. "The Free Catalog Subscription Program helps stores deliver the right catalogs to the right customers at the right time."

To receive free catalogs, participating stores must commit to a minimum annual mailing strategy and agree to stock all pictured products. Parable then provides enough free catalogs to meet the minimum mailing strategy; stores need only pay for central mail fees and postage.

The initial launch of the program included 77 Parable stores, with the first catalog in the program releasing in June. Comparison data should be available once the program has been in place for a few months. While in the initial test phase, the program was offered on a first-come, first-served basis to a limited number of Parable stores.

At the International Christian Retail Show this week, Parable will open the program to any store joining The Parable Group.
