As a member of The Parable Group, each Parable member store gains the competitive edge of empowerment from a national association, while still remaining a distinctive, locally-owned store.
To become a Parable member affiliate, you must have minimum sales volume of $350,000 a year and be able to demonstrate credit worthiness. Stores must also be equipped with the business tools needed to efficiently operate as a part of The Parable Group: a fax machine, Internet access and a computerized inventory control system. Finally, we ask that all member stores report their sales data to The Parable Group so we can effectively evaluate our services and better develop new customer-focused programs and products for the future.
Parable member stores have complete autonomy in ordering inventory and are asked only to carry a reasonable stock of any products featured in the catalogs they are participating in. They are also asked to buy, at a minimal cost, the merchandising kits we produce to enhance the catalogs. Every store sends out the two flagship catalogs of the year--Spring and Christmas--and from there customizes its marketing strategy by choosing from nearly 30 other publications produced throughout the year by The Parable Group.

You have 24/7 access to purchase orders, new customer counts, inventory help, catalog response rates and much more.
